Group B
Windows & PC Basics:
A Basic Understanding of what makes a computer tick, how to perform basic computer functions such as saving, copying and pasting of files and folders, how programs work and what they do, the difference between hardware and software & input and output devices.
Introduction to the Internet:
Search engines are synonymous with the internet due to the many advantages they present. Hence, we need to master basics and advanced searches. At the same time, we need to master how to utilize web browsers more efficiently in order to fully tap into the powerful potential of the internet. Some of the basic web browser skills you can master include opening links in new browser windows, using bookmarks, and clearing browser caches.
Group B will meet at the LiUNA Local 1059 Hall at 1:00 pm for the Windows & PC basics & Introduction to the internet Modules, We will have a break halfway through the class for coffee & a snack.
Feel free to bring a water bottle if you wish but in consideration of the computers please do not bring any open drinks.
