The Grey Bruce Labour Council Unifor will hold their annual Labour Day parade in Port Elgin on Monday, September 7th.

The parade has turned into a Labour Day tradition, There will be classic cars, pipe bands and up to 1500 people walking in it.

It kicks off the UNIFOR retirees conference at the UNIFOR centre (formerly the CAW Centre) which takes place during the week.

Once again Local 27 will be supplying a bus for the retirees who wish to attend.

As of Friday, June 17th, we have 35 members signed up for the bus. This year we have reserved a larger bus that seats 55, so please let us know if you want to attend and we will save you a seat!

If you know a fellow retiree who like to attend please let us know.

We are asking members who have changed their minds or are unable to attend to let us know as soon as possible

If required you must bring your own lawn chair & don't forget the sunscreen.

Please label your chair with your name (on tape) as the chairs will be stacked at the back or beneath the bus.

The bus will be leaving Local 27 Sept. 7th at 7:30 sharp.
