Dani Bartlett, the liaison between labour and the United Way of Elgin-Middlesex, told our chapter of the long relationship in this area of the United Way and labour and especially the contribution of Local 27 to the agencies that are helped by the United Way.

She acknowledged the special contribution of our own Bob Sexsmith and Hector McLellan and was honoured to present them each with a Certificate of Appreciation from the United Way for their long history of work to benefit our community.
