~ A virtual chapter meeting was held, April 14th, which was held using Google Meet. The meeting was joined by about a half dozen chapter members
~ As it was proving difficult to arrange and guarantee anonymity with phone-in and electronic voting and going to the hall to vote was deemed not desirable in the interests of personal safety during the pandemic. It was voted on at this meeting to postpone the election slated for June till a time when it can be held safely at the Local.
~ Hector and Larry who had intended to step down from their positions of Chair and Vice-Chair have agreed to stay on until elections can be held at the local.
~ Peter and Bob who had intended to stand for election in their positions of Recording Secretary and Sergeant-at-Arms have agreed to stay on until elections can be held safely.
~ Our chapter webmaster, Rick Eagar, has agreed to fill in as interim Financial Secretary until we can gather again in in-person meetings at the Local 27 hall and hold elections

~ We received messages informing us that two of our retirees, Tom Overholt and Alex Ferguson have passed away. Our condolences go out to their family and friends.
