It is with great sadness that we share the news that Peter Kearney, our long time friend and fellow Local 27 retiree has lost his battle with cancer.
Peter dedicated countless hours of his time to our chapter, and I know we all appreciated his many contributions. From recording and preparing our monthly minutes, to representing our group in Port Elgin, to helping plan the Christmas Luncheon, Peter took on countless responsibilities without complaint and played an important role in keeping our chapter running smoothly.
I know he will be greatly missed by all of us.
Peter's family is planning a spring time celebration of life, we will pass along details as they become available.
